MEDICAL ADVICE
The Ecolodges of Red Sea Diving Safari have comprehensive medical kits and have an ample supply of emergency oxygen. A VHF radio is available for emergency communication. Getting dehydrated is easy to avoid by drinking less alcohol and far more water than usual. Mineral water is included in the full board package and readily available at the Ecolodges.
Re-compression Facility
Egypt’s newest hyperbaric medical center of Baro Medical is located on the premise of Ecolodge Shagra Village. Red Sea Diving Safari is a member of Baro Medical. Therefore guests are automatically insured for decompression treatment for a fee of 7 Euros, payable on site. This insurance is valid for 28 days for diving accidents only. It includes chamber treatment (incl. HBO sessions if needed), doctor’s fees, diagnosis, as well as equipment and medicines used in treatment. The program does not cover hospitalization or any means of transport of the injured person.Weather
